T a e k w o n d o (phonics ok for age 5 and under)
'Tae' means foot, 'kwon' means hand and 'do' means art or way. Taekwon-do is the art of self-defence using hand and foot techniques.

White signifies innocence, that of the beginning student who has no previous knowledge of Taekwon-Do.

Show by making a fist with your reaction hand position it so your side fist is on your hip/belt.
Charyot sogi (Attention stance) Narani sogi (Parallel stance) Gunnun sogi (Walking stance)
The front leg should be bent and the rear leg should be straight.
At the moment, just think whichever leg is most bent identifies the stance. For example if the right leg is most bent then you are in a right stance.
If you are punching with the same arm as your most bent leg, you are performing an obverse punch. If you are punching with the opposite arm to your most bent leg, you are performing a reverse punch.

Practical

1) 10 parallel stance punches
2) 10 rising kicks (left and right leg)
3) 10 push ups
4) Walking stance fore fist punch
5) Walking stance inner forearm middle block
6) Walking stance inner forearm middle block, reverse punch

Routine

1) Saju makgi (Four direction block)
2) Saju jirugi (Four direction punch)
